Internet World Wide is based out of Flat 318 in Bellandur. If you know Bangalore, you know how the traffic is around Varthur Hobli. It can take forever to get anywhere. We decided to set up our space here because it's close to where a lot of the tech stuff happens, but we are just in a regular apartment. It’s not a big glass office with a receptionist. Usually, it’s just a couple of us sitting around with laptops trying to fix things or set up new connections. The flat gets a lot of sun in the afternoon, which makes it pretty warm, but we have a fan that helps. We do a lot of work related to the internet and how things connect globally, hence the name. It sounds bigger than we actually are, to be honest. We are just a small group of people working hard. There’s always a pile of cables in the corner and someone is usually complaining about the traffic on the Outer Ring Road. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or things like that. We just want the internet to work for people. We’ve been here for a while now and the neighbors don’t mind us much. It’s a practical way to run a business without spending too much on a fancy office space. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes our way every day. It is a bit cramped but it works for us.
