International Travel Shopie

Our little shop is tucked away at number 79 on 1st Main in Tippu Nagar. We are right on the 4th Cross, which is a spot in Chaajapet that most locals in Bangalore are familiar with. It is a busy area with a lot of noise and people moving about all the time. The shop itself is filled with posters of places far away and stacks of forms for passports and tickets. We spend most of our time staring at computer screens or chatting with people who are planning a trip to see family. It isn't a quiet place by any means. There is always someone coming in to ask about a flight or a train. We handle a lot of different things throughout the day. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we have to tell people to wait a few minutes while we refresh the page. That's just part of the routine here. We have a few chairs for people to sit while they wait their turn. We don't have any fancy uniforms or anything like that. It is just us in our regular clothes, trying to make sure everyone gets their papers in order. Bangalore weather can be unpredictable, so the door is usually open when it is nice or shut tight when the rain starts pouring down. It is a simple setup but it works for what we do and we like being part of the neighborhood.
