We are over at 16 Criscon Avenue in Dodda Banaswadi, which is where this branch of Infosys is located. It’s not like the massive campuses you see in Electronic City. This is a much more contained space in a regular part of the city. The building is on a street that stays pretty busy with local traffic. Inside, it’s mostly what you’d expect from an office: rows of desks, lots of wiring, and people sitting with their headphones on. We don't have any of the big fancy amenities here, just a small break area where the kettle is always on. We handle specific technical tasks and support work from this location. It’s a lot of sitting and coding or checking systems for hours at a time. The windows look out onto the trees and other houses in Banaswadi, which makes it feel a bit more grounded. Sometimes we have trouble with the parking because the lane is a bit narrow, but we manage. We don’t use a lot of corporate jargon in the office; we just talk about the bugs we’re fixing or what we’re going to eat for lunch. It’s a straightforward place to work. We come in, do our shifts, and deal with the usual Bangalore commute afterward. It’s a simple, functional office where the focus is just on getting the technical work finished on time for the clients.
