You’ll find us at No 1146 on Mgpalya Road in Bommanahalli. Being in Bangalore, we are used to the constant sound of traffic and the busy pace of the city. Mgpalya Road is usually packed with people and vehicles. Infosys Technologies Ltd has this office in a building that’s right in the thick of it. It’s a functional space without any of the extra stuff you might find in the big IT parks on the outskirts. We have our desks, some chairs that have seen better days, and our computers. The lighting is just standard fluorescent tubes. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs to get into our area, and there isn't an elevator that we use often. We usually grab lunch from the small eateries nearby because there are so many options in Bommanahalli. The office doesn’t have any big branding or fancy decorations on the walls. It’s just a place where we show up, do our tasks, and try to beat the traffic on the way home. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of all the road work nearby, but we just wipe down the desks and keep going. It’s a very practical, no-nonsense environment. We don’t spend time on fancy meetings; we just talk across the desks to get things sorted. It’s been our home base for a while now and we've got a good routine going.
