Our office is on the third floor of building 19 on Linden Street. It’s a pretty standard spot in Bangalore, right in the thick of things. We do back-office work here, so it’s mostly just rows of desks and people on computers all day. The street outside is always noisy with traffic and people walking to the nearby shops. We’ve been at this address for quite a while now. The building itself is older, and the elevator can be a bit slow, so a lot of us just use the stairs to get to the third floor. It’s not a fancy place by any means, but it gets the job done for what we do. We have a small area where we keep the kettle and some biscuits for breaks. Sometimes the air conditioning is a bit too cold, so you’ll see people wearing sweaters even when it’s hot outside. We handle a lot of data and paperwork for different companies. It gets busy, especially towards the end of the month when everything needs to be finished. We aren’t really into all that corporate talk; we just come in, do our shifts, and go home. Linden Street has a lot of good places to grab a quick lunch, which is nice. You get used to the constant hum of the city after a while. It’s just a regular workplace with regular people trying to stay on top of their tasks for the day.
