Holidays Abroad

We’re located in unit G7 at Number 66, Gem Plaza, on Infantry Road. It’s a busy part of the city, and the building has been here for quite some time. We focus on travel and holidays, so there are usually a lot of brochures and itineraries sitting on our desks. The office isn't very large, but we’ve made it work for us over the years. Infantry Road can be a nightmare for parking, so most of us take the bus or get dropped off. Inside, it’s a bit more peaceful than the street outside. We spend most of our time looking at flights and hotel stays on our computers. It’s just a small group of us working here. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. We just talk to people who want to go somewhere and try to find something that fits their needs. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait for the pages to load, which can be frustrating. We’ve decorated the walls with a few posters of places we’ve helped people visit over the years. It’s a simple setup with a couple of chairs for visitors and a lot of filing cabinets. We take turns making tea in the small pantry area in the back. We’ve been at Gem Plaza long enough that the security guards all know us. It’s a steady kind of job in a part of town that never really sleeps.
