People always ask how to find us at Indus Traveller because Malleshwaram can be a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. We are tucked away at 494 on the 1st Cross in Santhusapet. It’s a busy area and parking is usually a headache, so we usually tell folks to just take an auto. We spend most of our time looking at maps and booking tickets for people who want to go somewhere else. It’s funny because we stay in the office all day while everyone else goes on trips. The office has posters on the walls, mostly from places we visited years ago. We have a couple of old desks and the phones ring more than you’d think. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we just sit there waiting for the screen to load, chatting about what we’re having for lunch. Most of our regulars live nearby and just walk in when they need a flight or a train booking. We aren’t a big travel agency with a lot of fancy uniforms. We just wear what’s comfortable and try to keep the paperwork organized. It’s a lot of typing and checking dates. If we make a mistake, we fix it, but we try to be careful. It’s just us here, making sure people get where they need to go without too much trouble.
