About Indo Ds Prints And Process – Fashion & Trends in Bengaluru
Our place is on the first floor of building 390, right on 5th Main in Teachers Colony. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs if you are carrying heavy rolls of fabric. The 5th Avenue area is usually full of bikes parked everywhere. Inside, the machines for printing are almost always running. They make a steady humming sound that we have all gotten used to over the years. We do a lot of processing work here, mostly for other local businesses that need their designs put onto cloth. The floor usually has some ink stains on it, no matter how much we scrub. It’s a messy job sometimes, but that’s just how printing goes. We have a small staff of guys who have been with us for a long time. They know exactly how to set the screens and mix the dyes. We get a lot of light from the windows in the morning, which helps us see the colors better. By the afternoon, it gets pretty stuffy, so we leave the door open to get a breeze from the stairwell. Teachers Colony is mostly houses, so we try not to be too loud late at night. Most of our day is spent checking the prints for any spots or errors. We drink a lot of coffee to stay sharp. It is just a basic workshop where we focus on getting the prints done right.
