Our place is located at No.266 on the 2nd Cross of S C Road. It’s right in the middle of Gandhi Nagar. If you look across the street, you can see the Gubbi Veeranna Ranga Mandir. That theatre is a big landmark around here, so people usually find us without too much trouble. Bangalore traffic on S C Road can be a bit of a headache sometimes, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home. Our office is just a simple room with some desks and a couple of chairs for visitors. We’ve got the 560009 pin code area mostly memorized because we’ve been here so long. It gets a little dusty because of the construction and the vehicles, but we try to keep things tidy enough. There is always someone coming or going in Gandhi Nagar. We spend most of our time answering the phone or writing down notes on the desk pads. It is not a quiet spot, but that is just how this neighborhood is. You hear the autos honking and the people talking outside all day long. We have a small kettle for tea and some old calendars on the wall. It’s a work space, plain and simple. No big carpets or glass walls here. We just show up, do the work, and close the door when the sun goes down. Most of the other shop owners nearby know us by now.
