Indian Tours & Travels

Our office is over in Jayanagar, at 1334/5. It’s a nice area with a lot of trees still left on the side streets. Indian Tours & Travels has been operating out of this small space for a good amount of time. Inside, there are maps on the walls and a couple of old desks. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to drivers and checking on schedules. It’s not a big corporate setup. Usually, it's just two or three of us here at any given time. The bells from the nearby temple can be heard in the mornings. We have people coming in to ask about bus tickets or car rentals quite often. Sometimes they just want to know the best way to get to the airport without hitting too much traffic. We do our best to help them out with whatever information we have. The internet cuts out sometimes, which makes things a bit difficult, but we manage. Jayanagar is a busy place, but our little corner feels a bit more relaxed. We keep a stash of biscuits in the drawer for when we get hungry. It’s a simple life running a travel agency. We like meeting different people every day. Some of our customers have been coming to us for years and we know their families too. We are just happy to keep the lights on and keep helping people get where they need to go.
