Indian Airlines

The office at 1308 14Th Cross in the 2nd Stage of Indira Nagar is where we spend most of our time. Bangalore is a big city, but this little corner of Indira Nagar feels like its own world. We are located on a street that gets quite a lot of shade from the old trees, which is nice during those sunny afternoons. Our building is not hard to find if you know the cross streets well enough. Inside, things are pretty standard. We have some old cupboards for files and a few desks where we handle the day-to-day work for the airline. It is not always glamorous like the planes you see at the airport. Most of our day is spent on the phone or typing away on keyboards that have seen better days. We have a small area where people can wait, and usually, there is a newspaper lying around from the morning. The traffic outside can get loud, especially when people are trying to find parking on these narrow streets, but we have grown to ignore the honking. We have a rhythm here, starting early and staying until the work is done. It is a practical space, meant for getting things organized and making sure everything is on track. We drink a lot of tea to keep going, and the local shops nearby are where we usually grab a quick snack. There is nothing corporate about the way we run things here.
