We are set up in the N.J Manzil building, right at No 77 on the 2nd D Main Road in Bangalore. Specifically, we’re in the 8th Block of Koramangala. Anyone who lives in Bangalore knows that Koramangala is always moving. The traffic on the main road can be a bit of a nightmare during peak hours, but once you get inside the building, it’s a lot calmer. We’ve been in this spot for a good while. The office has that classic government feel to it, with heavy wooden desks and stacks of paper everywhere. We don’t really do the whole modern open-plan thing. Everyone has their own corner and their own way of organizing things. We use those old-fashioned staplers and thick ledgers for some of the records. It’s not about being high-tech here; it’s about getting the information sorted out correctly. The 560095 area is quite nice, with plenty of places to grab a quick bite during lunch. Sometimes we sit on the balcony of the building and watch the bikes go by. It’s a lot of routine work, checking names and flight details over and over. The air conditioning is a bit loud, but it keeps the Bangalore heat away. We just try to stay focused on the task at hand and help out whoever comes through the door. It’s a practical, no-frills kind of place to spend the day.
