Our spot here in Bangalore is over in Jayanagar, specifically at No L-76 in the 2nd Block. It’s tucked into 2nd Cross in Kanakana Palya, which is a busy little part of town. If you’ve ever tried to park a scooter around here during the afternoon, you know it’s a bit of a nightmare. The India Today Group is a big name, sure, but this office feels more like a regular workspace where people are just trying to get through their lists. We’ve got desks piled with magazines and notes. The ceiling fans hum all day long. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks down and everyone gets a bit grumpy until it’s fixed. It’s not all shiny like you see on TV. It’s mostly just us answering emails and checking facts. Jayanagar is a nice area though, lots of trees and some good places to grab a quick snack nearby. We’ve been at this address for a bit and the locals are used to seeing us coming and going at odd hours. News doesn’t really stop, so the lights are often on late. It’s a bit noisy with the traffic from the main road filtering in, but you get used to it. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing. It’s a practical setup for the team here in Bangalore, and we have been here for a good while.
