In Holiday Hotel

So we are here in Marthally at In Holiday Hotel. It’s a pretty straightforward place really. We have been in this building for a while now and most of us know the neighbors well. The street outside gets quite busy in the mornings so we usually start the day early to get things ready before the traffic picks up. Our front desk is just a simple wooden table and there’s a small seating area that needs a bit of a paint job soon. We spend most of the day checking people in and out or helping with bags. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow but we try to fix it when it acts up. The rooms are okay, nothing too fancy, just beds and a desk. We do the laundry ourselves most days. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons so we keep the fans going. It’s mostly regular people staying here, folks who are in town for work or visiting family. We don’t have a big fancy restaurant, just a small corner where we keep some tea and snacks for anyone who wants some. Usually, the evening is when things quiet down and we can finally sit for a bit. We’ve got some plants out front that I try to water every morning but I forget sometimes when it’s raining. It’s just us doing our thing here day to day and making sure the place stays tidy enough for whoever comes through the door.
