Our office is tucked away at 519 on 8th Main in Vijayanagar. It’s a nice part of Bangalore, fairly easy to get to once you know the turns. We’ve been doing design consulting from this spot for some time now. It’s not a huge space, but it’s enough for what we need to do. We spend a lot of time on drawings and thinking about how things should look and function. Sometimes the coffee machine acts up, and the street outside can get pretty noisy with the usual Bangalore traffic, but we manage just fine. We aren't the type to wear suits every day or have fancy presentations ready at a moment's notice. We just prefer to focus on the design work itself. If you drop in, you might see sketches scattered around or a couple of us debating over a layout. It’s a practical way to work. We didn't want a big corporate office in a glass building; this feels more like home. Most of our clients are locals who need some help figuring out their projects. We talk to them, see what they need, and then get to work. It isn't complicated. We’ve grown fond of this neighborhood over the years. There are good places nearby to grab a quick lunch when things get busy. We just keep our heads down and try to make sure every design we finish is solid. It's a living, and we enjoy the process of making things work on paper without much fuss.
