You can find us over at Savitha 117 on the 3rd Main in Gayathri Layout. We are right at the 6th Cross on Basavanapura Main Road in K R Puram. Bangalore traffic being what it is, getting here can be a bit of a chore some days. Our workshop deals with safety glass. It’s a loud place most of the time because of the cutting and the machines. There is always a bit of dust in the air despite our best efforts to keep it clean. We aren't a big corporate office with glass walls and carpets. It is more of a hands-on environment where everyone knows how to handle the material. The yard usually has a truck or two backed up for loading. We have to be careful moving the sheets around so nothing gets chipped. Most of the guys here have been working with glass for years. We just get on with the orders as they come in. There is a small desk in the corner where we keep the ledger and the phone. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons under the tin roof. We usually take a break around four for some tea. It’s a simple business and we like it that way. We don’t go in for fancy talk. If someone needs glass for a project, they come find us. We’ve been a part of this neighborhood for a long time now and everyone knows where the glass works is located.
