Ihhr Ista Bangalore

This is Satish Kumar, and I am representing Ihhr Ista Bangalore. Even though the name says Bangalore, I am actually working out of the Carnival Cruise-Freedom right now. My mailing address is 3655 N.W. 87th Ave in Miami, Florida, over in the USA. It is quite a long distance from India, but that is how my work goes these days. I deal with the hotel and hospitality side of things while the ship is moving from place to place. Being out at sea is very different from being in an office in Bangalore. The days are long and you are always busy with the guests and the rooms. When we dock in Florida, things get even more hectic with supplies and new people coming aboard. I have been doing this for a while, and it’s a bit strange to have a Miami address for a company that started back home. I spend most of my time walking the decks and making sure everything is in order for the people staying with us. It's a lot of responsibility, but it's just what I do. Even though I'm far away, I still feel like I'm part of the original team. The work doesn't change much, whether you are on land or on a big ship in the middle of the ocean. It's just about taking care of the daily tasks and making sure the business keeps moving.
