We are over at Marathahalli 5. It’s a bit of a crowded spot, but we like the energy of the area. The office is quite small, so we all know what everyone else is doing. There’s no hiding here. We focus on tech stuff, mostly building things from scratch or helping out when someone’s system crashes. It’s a lot of sitting and thinking. Sometimes we get stuck on a problem for hours and then the answer just hits someone while they’re waiting for the bus. We don't have a receptionist, so if the door rings, whoever is closest just gets up to see who it is. It’s informal like that. We have some plants on the windowsills that we sometimes forget to water. The furniture is a mix of stuff we’ve picked up over the years. It doesn't all match, but it’s comfortable enough for a long day. We don't really do the whole corporate culture thing. No team-building retreats or long speeches. We just work. Most of us have been here long enough that we don't need to be told what to do. The Marathahalli traffic can be a nightmare, so we try to get in early and leave before it gets really bad. It’s just a regular office where we try to do a good job without making a big fuss about it or pretending we're something we're not.
