We’ve been at this spot in Ashok Nagar for a long time now. House No. 17/S on Pulliar Koil Street is basically where we spend most of our waking hours. It’s not a huge glass building or anything fancy like you see in the tech parks. It’s just a regular house turned into an office for Ids Software Pvt. Ltd. We mostly do software work here. Some of the guys have been with us since the start, and we’ve seen the street change quite a bit over the years. Traffic gets a bit loud in the afternoons, but inside we’re usually just staring at screens and trying to figure out why things aren't working. There’s a small tea shop around the corner where we take breaks. We don't really do big meetings with suits. Usually, it’s just us sitting around a desk with some biscuits. If you’re looking for the place, it’s tucked away a bit, so people sometimes miss the gate. We keep things pretty simple here. No big HR department or fancy lunchroom, just a fridge and a microwave in the back. It gets the job done. We handle different types of coding projects for various people. It’s steady work and keeps us busy from Monday to Friday. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up, but mostly we try to get home for dinner. It’s a decent place to work and we know the neighbors well. We just focus on the code and keeping the computers running.
