Our office is over at Emmanuel, number 133 on 7th Street in Bank Avenue. This is in the Kalyanagar area of Bangalore. We handle property management, which means we spend a lot of time dealing with buildings and the people who live in them. Our space is pretty basic. We’ve got some files, a few computers, and a lot of keys hanging on the wall. It’s not a polished showroom. It’s a place where we take calls about leaky pipes or rent payments. Some days are quiet and we just catch up on the books. Other days, the phone won’t stop ringing and everyone is in a hurry. We just take it as it comes. The 7th Street is a decent place to be based. We know the local shops and where to get a quick lunch. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just try to make sure the properties we look after aren't falling apart. It’s practical work. We deal with real problems and real people every day. Sometimes we make mistakes, but we fix them and move on. It’s just a small team of us trying to keep things running smoothly for the owners and tenants in this part of Bangalore. There is always something to fix or someone to meet in this business, and we stay busy with it from morning until evening most days of the week.
