Ideal Radiators & Cooler Works

Over at 16, H Siddiah Road, you’ll find our little shop, Ideal Radiators & Cooler Works. We are right opposite the Urvashi Theatre, which makes it easy for folks to find us in S R Nagar. Being near Phadke Haud Chowk means there is always noise and movement outside. We spend most of our time fixing up radiators and cooling systems that have seen better days. It's messy work, dealing with old coolant and metal fins that get clogged with dust. Most people only think about their radiator when the car starts smoking or the machine overheats, so we see a lot of frustrated faces. We just take the parts, clean them out, or weld what’s broken. It's honest labor. The shop isn't much to look at, just a counter and a lot of tools scattered around the floor. We’ve been here a good while now. The heat in the city doesn't help these machines, so there's always something to fix. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know our way around a cooling core. Sometimes we have to hunt for parts that aren't made anymore, which takes time. We don't promise miracles, just a decent repair so things don't get too hot again. Drop by if you’re near the theater and need something looked at. We'll be here with our sleeves rolled up. It gets pretty warm in the shop, but that’s just part of the job we do.
