Idea Solutions

Magadi Road is always a bit of a mess with the traffic, so being at number 13 means we hear the horns all day long. It's an old building, but it has character, or at least that's what we tell ourselves when the lift stops working. We call ourselves Idea Solutions, though most of the time we are just solving practical problems that come across the desk. The office isn't very large. We have three main rooms and a tiny kitchen area that barely fits two people at once. We spend our hours looking at diagrams and trying to make sense of what clients need. Sometimes the internet acts up and we end up sitting around talking about the old days in the neighborhood instead of working. We don't wear suits or anything like that. Usually, it's just jeans and shirts, and maybe a sweater if the fan is on too high. There is a lot of paper everywhere because we still like to sketch things out by hand. It feels more real that way. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to get the work done right so we can go home. The windows look out onto a narrow alley, so there isn't much of a view, but we are too busy to look out anyway. It's a decent place to spend the day and we have a regular rhythm to our weeks. Sometimes we stay late when a project gets tricky, but we always make sure there is enough tea to go around.
