Icon Advertising is situated at 65/2 Millers Road in Benson Town, Bangalore. We are actually located within the Bangalore Youth Hostel premises. It is an interesting place to work because there are always travelers and young people moving around the building. Benson Town still has some of that old Bangalore charm with big trees and older buildings, which is a nice change from the high-tech corridors. Our office is fairly basic. We do advertising work, but we don't have the flashy displays you might see on TV. It’s mostly us sitting at our desks, working on designs or writing copy. We have a few old computers and a lot of paper samples lying around. The atmosphere is pretty casual; we don't wear suits or follow strict corporate rules. If someone wants to take a break and sit in the hostel garden, they can. The location on Millers Road is convenient for getting to other parts of the city, though the traffic near the railway bridge is always a struggle. We’ve been here long enough that the hostel staff knows us well. We just take things one day at a time, handling whatever client requests come through the door. It’s a small operation, but we stay busy. We don't promise anything impossible, just that we will put in the hours and get the ads done. It is a simple life in a nice part of town.
