Icici Prudential

The building is called Kishore Kunj and you’ll find us on Sant Kabir Road. This is Bettiah, out in Bihar. It’s a local spot where things move a bit slower than the big cities. At Icici Prudential, we sit in the office and deal with whatever comes our way. The Banuchhapra area is where we are located, and most people around here know the landmark. We have desks and chairs and lots of files that need organizing. During the summer, the fans are always going because it gets really warm in this part of India. We get visitors who walk in off the street to ask about their papers or just to see what’s going on. We don’t have any of those shiny posters or big TV screens, just a place to sit and talk. Our address is 845438 if you’re looking at the mail. The road outside can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up. We’ve been here for a bit, and we know most of the shopkeepers nearby. Sometimes we get tea from the stall around the corner when it’s quiet. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just show up, do the filing, talk to the locals, and make sure the records are straight. It’s a simple setup in a simple building. Everyone just calls it the Kishore Kunj office. We take care of the daily tasks and make sure everything stays in order. That is really all there is to it.
