Working at 79, 3rd Main Road in Bangalore keeps us pretty busy. This isn't one of those massive bank buildings with hundreds of people. It is a more local branch where we deal with housing finance. We spend a lot of time looking at documents and talking to folks who want to buy a home or fix one up. The office has a lot of files stacked up, and the printers are usually humming in the background. It is a straightforward place to work. We have a routine that starts with checking the emails and then moving on to the applications. Sometimes people come in with a lot of questions, and we sit down and try to explain things simply. The neighborhood is okay, though finding parking on 3rd Main can be a nightmare sometimes. We usually bring our lunch from home and eat at our desks. It is just a group of people doing a job. We don't have any flashy stuff here, just desks, chairs, and computers. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a weird rattling sound, but it keeps the room cool enough. We see a lot of the same faces in this part of Bangalore. It is a steady job and we try to do it right every day without making things too complicated.
