Icici Bank Ltd

We are based out of the Icici Bank Towers on Commissariat Road in Bangalore. Specifically, we're up on the 5th floor of building number one. It’s a big place, and sometimes the elevators take forever in the morning when everyone is trying to get to their desks at the same time. The view from the fifth floor isn't too bad, you can see some of the trees and the traffic down below. Bangalore-25 is a busy area, especially during lunch hours when all the office workers spill out into the streets to find something to eat. We spend a lot of our time looking at screens and handling various banking tasks that come our way. It’s not always exciting, but it’s the work we do. The air conditioning is usually a bit too cold, so most of us keep a sweater at our desks even when it’s hot outside. We aren't trying to be anything other than a bank branch doing its job. You see the same faces every day in the break room, and we talk about the traffic or the cricket scores. It’s a routine that works for us. Working in a tower like this means you’re a bit removed from the street noise, which is nice when things get hectic. We just try to get through the pile of work on our desks and go home when the sun starts setting over the city. It's a long day sometimes.
