The setup we have is a house in Indira Nagar, right behind Nandhani Palace. It’s a pretty well-known spot in Bangalore. House Number 181 is where we do our thing. It doesn't look like those massive tech parks you see on the outskirts of the city. It’s more of a local feel here on 18th B Main. Supporting different tech tasks and doing support work happens right from this location for Ibm. Being in Hal 2nd Stage means there are plenty of places to grab lunch nearby, which is a plus. The office itself is just a regular building converted for our needs. We have desks, computers, and a lot of cables everywhere. It’s not some polished showroom. We just come in, do the technical work, and try to keep things running for the people who rely on us. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, but that is just part of working in this area. Reception areas with fancy logos aren't really necessary for what we do. It’s just a gate and a door. We aren’t really into the whole corporate jargon. We just talk about code or hardware or whatever is on the schedule for the day. It’s a practical workspace for a group of people who know their way around computers. We’ve been here for a bit and it works for us.
