Our office is tucked away at No. 43/3 Shanthinikethan, right there on 6th Cross and 7th Main in Malleshwaram. If you know Bangalore, you know this part of town still has some of that old charm left, though the traffic on the main roads is getting worse every year. We are mostly focused on the back-end stuff here, with rows of desks and people wearing headsets for most of their shift. It gets quite busy during the afternoons when the shift change happens and everyone is trying to find a parking spot for their scooters. The building itself is okay, nothing too modern, but it does the job for what we need. Inside, you’ll hear the constant sound of typing and people talking quietly on calls. We have a small break area where the coffee machine is always running, though many of us prefer to go out to the local stalls nearby for a proper filter coffee when we get a chance. The lighting is that typical office white, and sometimes the air conditioning feels a bit too cold, so you’ll see people wearing sweaters even when it is warm outside. We keep track of a lot of data and handle various tasks that keep the bigger machine running. It’s a lot of routine work, checking screens and making sure the numbers match up at the end of the day. We don't really have big meetings every hour, just people doing their jobs and heading home to beat the evening rush.
