Ibc Hotels & Resorts

Our spot is at 10 Thimmaia Garden, right in the middle of Cox Town. Bangalore 5 is a decent area to be in, though it gets a bit crowded during the commute hours. We’ve been running Ibc Hotels & Resorts from this location for some time now. It’s not a massive skyscraper or anything like that. It’s just a practical building where we keep things running day and night. We have a routine where we check the linens, make sure the water is running fine, and see who is checking out. The garden area is okay, but it takes a lot of work to keep the plants looking halfway decent in this heat. We don't really have a marketing team or anyone telling us how to speak to people. We just talk to the guests like they are neighbors. Sometimes we have to apologize when the power goes out, but that’s just Bangalore life for you. We keep a pot of tea going most of the time in the back. It’s an honest living, and we try to make sure nobody has a hard time while they are staying with us. Cox Town has a lot of history, and we feel like we are just a small part of the daily scene here. We don't make big promises, we just show up and do the work. It gets a little dusty being near the road, but we stay busy.
