If you come down to New Madiwala Extension, you'll find us on the second floor of the building at 16/3. Jeetender Kumar Sharma started things off here. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs, but we’ve got a good view of the street from the 4th Main Link Road. The office is where all the planning for the hotels and resorts happens. It is not a very big space, but we have enough room for the desks and the filing cabinets. Most of the day is spent looking at booking lists or talking to the staff at the different properties. We deal with a lot of paperwork regarding maintenance and guest lists. There’s always someone coming in or out with a delivery or a message. It gets a bit cluttered with all the stationery and folders lying around, but we know where everything is. Sometimes the fans are a bit noisy, but we are used to it. We take care of the details that keep the rooms ready and the guests happy, even if it’s just sorting out the laundry schedules or checking on the kitchen supplies from a distance. Being in this part of Bangalore means there is always a lot of noise from the traffic outside, which keeps us on our toes. We have been working out of this spot for a good bit now and it feels like home for the team. Everyone here just gets on with their work without much fuss. The lights stay on late some nights.
