I Raa Architects

I Raa Architects is based at Seshadripuram 151, and we’ve been working out of this office for several years now. It’s a modest space, tucked away in a building that has a lot of character. Seshadripuram is a lively neighborhood, so there is always plenty of noise and movement outside our windows. Inside, it’s a bit more focused. We have our computers and our drafting tables set up in a way that works for us. We aren’t the kind of architects who wear fancy suits or give long speeches about design philosophy. We just focus on making sure the drawings are accurate and the buildings are functional. We handle a lot of local projects, from small house renovations to some larger commercial buildings in the area. Our office is often messy with rolls of blueprints and technical drawings everywhere. We don’t have a receptionist to greet you; you just walk in and one of us will look up from what we’re doing. We’ve found that being practical and straightforward is the best way to handle the work. We spend a lot of time on the phone with contractors and looking at site surveys. It’s hard work, but we enjoy seeing a project go from a simple sketch to a finished building. We’ve been here at 151 for a while, and we’ve become a part of the local scene. It’s just what we do every day without any fuss.
