Hummingbird Suites is run out of our correspondence office in Yelahanka, Karnataka. We’re in the 560064 area, which is a bit of a distance from the main city center but it suits us just fine. We handle all the admin and planning for our suites from this location. It’s not a place where guests stay; it’s where all the paperwork happens. Managing suites is a lot more work than it looks like on the surface. There’s always someone calling about a booking or a maintenance issue that needs fixing right away. We spend our days answering emails and keeping the books in order. It’s a small team of us here, and we’ve all been doing this for quite some time. We aren't trying to be some massive hotel empire. We just want to offer people a comfortable place to stay when they’re visiting Bangalore. Sometimes we get overwhelmed when a lot of bookings come in at once, and the office gets a bit chaotic with all the papers. We try to keep a good routine, but in the travel business, things change fast. We’ve been based in Yelahanka for a long while now. It’s a regular office with regular people trying to do a good job. We focus on the basics like clean sheets and working lights. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from morning till night. We just keep moving forward, one guest at a time, until the day is done.
