Humming Bird

We are based at Wild Spice inside Cariappa Bhavan on Residency Road. This part of Bangalore is pretty central and there is always a lot happening right outside our windows. Humming Bird has been here for some time now, and we are just used to the rhythm of this street. It is a mix of old buildings and new shops popping up every other month. Most days start with us getting the place ready and checking the schedule. Residency Road gets really jammed with traffic in the evenings, so we usually see people rushing around trying to get home. We have our small space here and it works for us. It is not some big corporate headquarters, just an office where a few of us sit and handle the daily tasks. You can find us easily if you know the landmark. There are plenty of trees around, but you still hear the buses and horns all day. We do not spend much time worrying about looking polished. There is always a stack of files that needs sorting or a phone that won't stop ringing. Sometimes the power goes out and we just wait for the generator to kick in. It is just a normal work life in the heart of the city. We keep things simple and try to stay organized while the city moves fast around us. It is a practical way to run things without any extra fuss.
