Hsbc

This is the HSBC branch located over at 356 A on 1st Main Road. We are right on the corner of 2nd Cross Street in Natesan Nagar. Being in Virugumbakkam, we see a lot of local folks coming in for their daily banking stuff. It’s a busy part of Chennai. Most days we are just handling paperwork or helping people at the counters. The office gets a bit crowded in the mornings when everyone wants to get things done at once. We try to keep things moving. There is usually someone at the door to point you the right way. We’ve been at this address for a while now, so most people around here know where we are. It’s 600093 for those sending mail. We deal with accounts and numbers all day, which can get a bit repetitive, but the people we meet make it interesting. Sometimes the computers are slow, which is annoying for everyone, but we just wait it out. We just do our jobs and try to help out when someone has a question about their money. It’s not a flashy place, just a regular bank office. The street outside is always noisy with traffic and the sound of auto-rickshaws. We get used to the sound of the horns after a few hours of work. A lot of our regulars live just a few streets away. It feels like a neighborhood spot even though it’s a big name. We are just here to get the work done and go home at the end of the shift.
