Chanchal

Chanchal is our small business located on 3rd Main Road in Hoysala Nagar. It’s just a local shop that we’ve been running for a good number of years. We aren't part of any big chain or anything like that. It’s just a few of us here every day. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we know a lot of the people who walk past. Our shop is a bit small, and it can get cramped when we get new stock in. We don't have fancy displays or expensive lighting. It’s just a plain shop with the things we sell stacked on shelves. We spend our time talking to customers and making sure they find what they need. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when it’s slow. Hoysala Nagar is a nice place to be. The 3rd Main Road gets some shade from the trees, which is nice in the summer. We don't really have a big website or do online stuff. We just open the doors in the morning and wait for people to come in. It’s a simple way to live. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, but our shop has stayed pretty much the same. We just keep doing what we do. It’s an honest living and we are happy with that. No big plans to expand, just staying right here in the neighborhood.
