Housekeeping Supervisor In Wipro Guest Block

I’m currently looking after things at the Wipro Guest Block. Being a housekeeping supervisor in a place like Munnar is different from the city because everything is so green and damp most of the year. My father, Sam Daniel, worked as a field officer over at Chenduvarri Estate, so I’ve grown up around these hills and the tea plantations. Life here moves at its own pace. In the guest block, there’s always something to fix or a room to get ready for someone coming in from the main office. I spend a lot of time checking the linens and making sure the floors are wiped down properly. It’s a lot of walking up and down. Sometimes the weather gets really misty and you can barely see the next building from the porch. I take my job seriously because people coming all this way expect a clean place to sleep. It’s not just about sweeping; it’s about making sure the whole place feels right for the visitors. My family has been in this area for a long time. Munnar is home, and working here feels natural to me. I usually start early when the air is still cold and fresh. I check the supplies, talk to the staff about their duties, and see what needs doing for the day. It’s steady work and it keeps me busy. Most days are fine, even if the heavy rain makes the outdoor work a bit harder. We just get on with it and keep moving.
