Hotspot Outlets is right in the middle of Gandhi Bazaar, which is one of the busiest spots in Basvangudi. Our address is 117, New Gandhi Bazar. Anyone who grew up in south Bangalore knows this area well for its flower markets and old shops. We fit right into that mix. The building we are in is older, and the stairs are a bit narrow, but it has character. A lot of people come in after they finish their vegetable shopping or after visiting the temple nearby. It is a lively place to work. You can hear the vendors outside calling out prices all day long. The shop stays open throughout the week because people are always around. Sometimes, we just sit and watch the crowds go by when things are slow. Many regular customers have been coming to us for years. They don't even need to look at the sign; they just walk in. Daily sales and helping people find what they need are handled without making a big fuss about it. It is not a modern showroom with bright lights; it is just a practical shop that does its job. The pace here is nice, even when it gets overwhelming during festival seasons when the whole street is packed with shoppers and stalls. We just keep the lights on and wait for the next person to walk through the door. It feels good being part of the local market.
