Hotel Windsor

We are located right here in Patna. Our building has been part of the local area for a good while. It is a straightforward hotel where people stay when they are passing through the city for work or visiting family. We do not have all the bells and whistles of the big international chains, but we have rooms and a place for people to sit down. Most of our days are spent checking people in, making sure the linens are washed, and answering the phone. Patna can be a very busy and dusty city, so we try our best to keep the inside as comfortable as we can for anyone coming in from the heat. The lobby is usually where you will find one of us sitting behind the desk. We get a lot of regulars who come back every time they have business in the city. It is a family-style operation in many ways. We know the local shops around us and can tell you where to get a good meal or find a rickshaw. The street outside is always noisy with traffic and people, which is just how Patna is. We open the doors early and stay up late for the guests arriving on the night trains. It is not a complicated life here. We just provide a place to sleep and try to make sure everything works like it is supposed to. It is a lot of routine work.
