Hotel Spice Village

If you’re traveling down Horamavu Road in Bangalore, you’ll find us at 123 Spoorty HRBR Layout. We are a small hotel where things are kept pretty simple. It’s not like those giant luxury places downtown with doormen. We have a regular flow of guests, some staying for just a night and others staying longer for work nearby. The building is a bit older, and you can see that in the tiles, but we try to keep it clean and functional for everyone. You’ll usually see one of us at the front desk waiting to help someone check in or hand over a key. The area around HRBR Layout is fairly quiet compared to the rest of Bangalore, which our guests seem to like after a long day. We have a kitchen that puts out some basic meals, mostly stuff that feels like home cooking rather than restaurant food. We deal with leaky faucets or light bulbs that burn out at the wrong time, just like any other house. It’s a lot of laundry and making beds every day. We aren't trying to impress anyone with fancy stuff; we just provide a place to sleep and a hot meal for a decent price. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk in the lobby, other days everyone arrives at once and it’s a bit of a scramble to get rooms ready. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a while now. It’s a straightforward business run by regular people.
