Hotel Ramanashree Brunton

Our building is at 41306 Mahathma Gandhi Road, right on Agiyari Lane. We are directly across from the old passport office, which is how most people find us if they get lost. Being in the 560001 area means we are right in the middle of a lot of action. The streets around here are narrow and can get quite packed with people and scooters during the day. We spend a lot of time just keeping the entrance clear and making sure the lobby doesn't get too dusty from the road. The hotel has a bit of age to it, so we are always doing some kind of maintenance, whether it's fixing a window or checking the plumbing. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to make sure the rooms are ready when the next person walks in. The staff here is a small group, and we all know each other's names. We don't use any fancy scripts when we talk to guests. If someone needs a towel or wants to know where the nearest bank is, we just tell them. It’s a busy life being on MG Road, but we’ve gotten used to the pace. We just take things one day at a time, making sure the beds are made and the bills are paid. It’s a practical way to run a business, and it seems to work for us and the people who stay here while visiting the city center.
