Hotel Raghavendra

We are located at 1315 Yeshwantpur, right in the Marappan Palya area. If you know Bangalore, you know how hectic Yeshwanthpur is. The railway station is close by, so there is a constant stream of people carrying bags and looking for a place to rest. We started this because there’s always a need for a spot to crash near the tracks. The noise of the trains is something you just stop hearing after a few weeks. Our building isn't huge, but we make use of the space we have. I usually handle the front desk myself most afternoons. We get a lot of workers and people traveling for exams or job interviews. The stairs are a bit steep, so we always tell people to watch their step. We try to keep the water running and the lights on, which is sometimes a challenge when the city does maintenance. It’s a very practical kind of place. We don’t have a big menu or anything, just some basics if someone is hungry. Most people are gone by early morning to catch their next bus or train. It’s a fast-paced life here in Yeshwanthpur, and we are just right in the middle of it all, trying to keep up.
