Hotel Nahar

You can find Hotel Nahar over on Naranyappa Street, specifically at number 74. We are right off Oil Mill Road in the St. Thomas Town area of Bangalore. It’s a part of the city that has a lot of history and older buildings. Our place fits right in. It isn't a modern skyscraper or anything, just a solid building where we provide rooms for people passing through. St. Thomas Town is a bit more relaxed than the newer parts of Bangalore, which our guests usually appreciate. We have a small team here. Most of us have been working at the hotel for a long time, so we know the streets around Naranyappa Street like the back of our hands. We spend our time checking people in, making sure the linens are clean, and pointing folks toward the best local eateries in the area. It’s practical work. We don’t have a marketing department or big glossy brochures to hand out. We just rely on being in a good spot and treating people fairly. The noise from Oil Mill Road is usually just a background hum. We’ve had all sorts of travelers stay with us over the years. Some are here for work, others just visiting family nearby. It’s a busy life but it keeps us on our toes every single day. We just try to keep the place tidy and the doors open for anyone who needs a room.
