Hotel Motil Mahal

Hotel Motil Mahal is at 47 Race Course Road. We’ve been here a good while now, right in the middle of everything. The road outside gets pretty loud with all the traffic and people going to the race course, but that is just part of being in this part of town. Our building isn't anything fancy to look at. It is just a regular place where people can get a room for the night. We have a few floors and the rooms are basically what you’d expect for the price. We don't have those big fancy lobbies with fountains or anything. It’s just a small desk and someone there to give you your key. The staff has been with us for a long time, so they know how things work. They spend a lot of time cleaning and making sure the fans are working because it gets warm in the afternoons. We don’t really do any big marketing. Most people find us because they are working nearby or they missed their bus at the station. It’s a simple setup. We focus on the basics like having enough water and keeping the sheets fresh. Sometimes the elevator is a bit grumpy, but it gets you there. We just try to keep things moving day by day. It’s a practical spot for someone who doesn't want to spend too much money on a luxury hotel. You get a bed and a roof, and we try to keep it tidy for every guest.
