Hotel Metro Pole

Hotel Metro Pole is on Central Street in Shivaji Nagar, Bangalore. We are numbered 26 and 27 on the street. It’s a very central location, right near the old Sangeet Theater. Shivaji Nagar is an old part of the city with a lot of history and very narrow, busy roads. You can find almost anything you need within walking distance of our front door. The theater isn't as busy as it used to be, but it’s still a good landmark for people trying to find us. Our building is a bit older and has that typical Bangalore look to it. We have a small team of people who handle everything from the cleaning to the check-ins. The traffic on Central Street can be a nightmare during rush hour, with bikes and buses squeezed together. We mostly see people who are in town for work or visiting relatives nearby. The weather in Bangalore is usually nice, so we keep the doors open to let the air in, even if it brings in some of the city noise. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department. We just answer the phone when it rings and make sure the rooms are swept. It’s a simple setup. We’ve been here for quite a while now and most of our neighbors know us by name. It’s just a regular hotel in a busy, old-fashioned part of the city. There is a small shop nearby that sells good coffee in the mornings.
