Hotel Leela Palace

Hotel Leela Palace is situated out in Tarabanahalli. This is in the Chicjala area, which is near the post office there. It is a bit far from the main city center of Bangalore, but that is actually quite nice sometimes. The area is more open and less crowded than the middle of town. Our building is easy to spot once you get into the Tarabanahalli area. We call ourselves Hotel Leela Palace. We know there is a very famous hotel with a similar name, but we are our own thing out here. We have rooms for people who need a place to stay near this side of town. The staff here is small and we all do a bit of everything, from cleaning to answering the door. It is a quiet place for the most part. Chicjala is a growing area but it still feels like a village in some ways. We spend our time making sure the guests are settled and that the place is kept up. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on people finding us when they are in this part of Bangalore. It is a simple life and a simple business. We focus on the basics of running a hotel and don't worry about the rest. The view out the back window shows a lot of green fields, which is quite relaxing during the late afternoon when the sun starts to set.
