Hotel Fishland

If you are walking around Gandhi Nagar, you might see the Sujatha Complex. We are on the first floor there. Hotel Fishland has been a part of this 1st Main Road area for quite a while. We are right across from the IDBI Bank, which is a big help when people are trying to find us for the first time. Bangalore is a fast city, especially in this part of town where everyone seems to be in a hurry. We try to be a place where you can just sit down for a bit and eat. We don't have a big team of waiters in uniforms. It’s just us. The 1st floor location means you have to walk up the stairs, but most people don't mind. We do a lot of fish, obviously, given the name. We get our supplies early in the morning and start prepping right away. It’s a lot of work, but it’s what we do. The dining area is simple and practical. We don't spend money on decorations that don't matter. We’d rather focus on making sure the food is right. Sometimes it gets a little hot in the afternoons, but we have the fans going. It’s a regular local business, nothing more and nothing less. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but we’re still here at the same spot in 560009.
