Hotel Fish Palace

This place is tucked away in Rajajinagar 2nd Stage. It’s on 17th Cross, at number 522. We’ve been here in this part of Bangalore for a good bit of time. People know us as Hotel Fish Palace. It’s a neighborhood spot, really. We don’t have a big fancy sign or a lot of lights. Most people who come in live right around the corner or work in the shops nearby. Bangalore has changed a lot, with all these big malls and new places opening up, but we’ve stayed pretty much the same. We focus on fish dishes because that’s what we like to cook. The kitchen is small but we keep it busy. You won’t find any corporate talk here. We are just local people serving other local people. Sometimes we run out of certain things if the market didn't have what we wanted that morning. That’s just how it goes when you’re trying to keep things fresh. The seating is basic, just chairs and tables that have seen a lot of use over the years. We don’t try to be something we’re not. If you want a quick meal and you’re in the 560010 area, you can just walk in. There’s no need for reservations or anything like that. We just appreciate the folks who keep coming back year after year. It keeps us going through the busy days.
