Hotel Espee Residency

Hotel Espee Residency is over at 8 Subedar Chatram Road, on 24th Main and 7th Cross. We’re directly opposite the KSRTC Bus Stand in 560009. Being near the bus stand means we see a lot of tired people. They’ve been on a bus for ten hours and they just want to lie down. It’s a very busy spot. There’s always buses pulling in and out, and the sound of horns is constant. I think it’s a good location for people who are traveling on a budget. We don’t have any shiny brochures or fancy websites. We just have the building and the rooms inside. Most of our work is just keeping up with the turnover. One person leaves, we clean up, and another person arrives an hour later. It’s a fast pace. The building has been here for quite some time, so it has its little problems like a leaky tap here or a door that sticks there. We fix things as they come up. It’s a very practical way to live. I usually have my tea in the morning while watching the first buses arrive across the street. It’s a bit of a chaotic area, but it’s our area. We don’t pretend to be a luxury resort. We are just a residency near a bus station, and that’s perfectly fine for what we do. Every day is the same but different.
