Hotel Adarsh Sagar

Hotel Adarsh Sagar is over in Electronic City, right across from the State Bank of India. The address is 36/1, and we are in the Venugopal Swamy Building. It is a bit of a tricky spot to find because we are also behind Maji Sagar and opposite the Patterkuwa petrol pump. There is always a lot of traffic in this part of the 560100 area. You can hear the buses and the cars going to the big tech offices all day. We open the doors early in the morning. Usually, the first thing we do is check on the kitchen and see what needs fixing. Being near a petrol pump means there’s always a smell of fuel in the air and lots of noise from the vehicles. The Venugopal Swamy Building is just a regular concrete building. We don't have any big gardens or anything like that. We just have our space where we look after the people who come in. Most of our guests are people working nearby or folks who got stuck in the Electronic City traffic. We spend a lot of our time just managing the daily chores. The floors need constant mopping because of the dust from the main road. It’s a busy life here near the SBI and Maji Sagar. We just try to keep things moving along without too much fuss. It is a plain, working-class kind of place for regular people.
