We are tucked away at 132/6 Jp Nagar Ramamurthynagar. Hot Tech Solar Water Heater & Lights is basically a workshop and a small front desk. If you walk in, you’ll probably see a couple of water heaters being put together or some lights being tested. It’s not a quiet place. There’s always the sound of someone hammering or a truck unloading something. We’ve been in Ramamurthynagar for a good while, so most of the locals know where we are. The shop is a bit cramped because we keep so much stock on hand. We figured it’s better to have the parts ready than to make people wait. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the back door, but we put a bucket there and it’s fine. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. It’s just me and a few others handling the phones and the tools. We talk to people like they are our neighbors because mostly they are. When someone’s heater stops working in the middle of winter, they get frustrated, and we get that. We just try to fix it. The lights we have are mostly for outdoors. We show people how they work right there on the counter. It’s a simple setup. No fancy carpets or glass walls here. Just a lot of metal, glass, and hard work every day. We’re usually open until late evening unless something comes up.
